BUYING GUIDE
Air Rifle Price in India: What Should You Pay?
Airgun prices in India span a 10x range. Here is what each type fairly costs, so you can spot a bad deal instantly.
Typical street prices
- Break-barrel spring rifles (.177): ~₹10,000–20,000 — the starter segment. See our airgun range.
- CO2 pistols & rifles (.177): ~₹6,000–22,000 depending on brand and blowback. Our Glock G17 Gen5 at ₹21,690 sits at the premium end of this band.
- PCP (pre-charged) rifles: ~₹50,000–70,000+ plus pump or compressor costs.
- Licensed firearms: a different league — e.g. our Kiehberg 1911 at ₹6,85,450. Always against a valid arms license.
What drives the price?
Powerplant (spring < CO2 < PCP), brand licensing (official Glock/Beretta replicas cost more), build (metal vs polymer, rifled vs smoothbore barrel) and import duties on foreign models. A suspiciously cheap "Glock" is either fake or broken — genuine replicas hold their price.
How to avoid overpaying
- Compare 2–3 dealers on WhatsApp with the exact model name
- Ask what is included: CO2, pellets, case, warranty
- Check spare and magazine availability before buying rare models
